Amkeni Foundation is a registered youth-led non-profit organization founded in 2024. We believe that youth involvement in humanitarian and philanthropic initiatives would foster empowerment, self-reliance and sustainable development in refugee-host communities. We are currently implementing some of our programs in Rwamwanja refugee settlement with the aim to expand to other refugee-host communities in Uganda. Our primary programming areas include education, livelihood and Empowerment. We believe that education is the key to development that would lead to equitable and equal communities. Amkeni Foundation is built on the premises of compassion, volunteerism and generosity.
