Given the high level of unemployment and limited opportunities among youth in refugee-host communities, the Volunteer Service Program was established to create pathways for young people to gain practical experience, develop professional skills, and contribute to community transformation.
The program provides opportunities for young graduates and high-school graduates who face barriers accessing higher education institutions such as universities. Through volunteering, participants acquire workplace experience, leadership skills, and exposure to humanitarian and development work.
